Wachira founded the company in 1981 after several years of experience with a leading Reinsurance company in Kenya. Wachira holds a B.Sc. (Business Administration) degree from the United States University of San Diego, California, USA. He is also an investor and a director of prominent tourism and real estate investments across Eastern Africa.
Tom is one of the Pioneers of LIAISON. He holds a B.Com (University of Nairobi), Post Graduate MBA (University of Leicester, UK) and is an Associate of RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.). Tom is a renowned entrepreneur. He holds leadership positions in several economic and social enterprises across Africa.
Wilson is a Corporate Banker with over 11 years’ experience in Corporate and Investment Banking having worked in South Africa with ABSA/Barclays Banks and currently with National Bank of Commerce Ltd (NBC) in Tanzania as the Head of Global Clients responsible for Global Corporates, Global Development Organisations and Financial Institutions. Wilson has strong experience in finance, sales, business development, strategy and mergers & acquisitions. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance from University of Cape Town, South Africa and a Masters of Finance in Financial Sector Management from University of London’s Centre for Financial Management Studies.
Joan joined LIAISON GROUP in 2021. She is a dynamic HR Professional with over 10 years’ International and Regional experience in the Financial Services sector including Insurance, Insurance Brokage, Banking and a Big Four Professional Services firm with depth in distilling business strategy into people priorities through strategic thinking. She has worked in key markets including Hong Kong and Kigali.
Joan is deeply passionate about Talent Management- enabling individuals identify their strengths and opportunities and seeing how to bridge the two.
Is an accomplished and seasonal insurance practitioner spanning over 17 years. His strategic leadership talents and entrepreneurial experience is a wealth to our Group. Okoth holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Dar es Salaam. He is currently pursuing his ACII qualification as well as Master’s degree in Strategic Planning from Edinburgh University, UK
He worked with First Assurance Company Ltd. As well as Resolution Insurance Ltd thereby gaining immense knowledge and wealth of experience for over 9 years. Bright holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from College of Business Education and a Diploma in Business Accounting from Azania College of Management. He is a talent in our pool of Human Capital investment.
Mary worked with Jubilee Insurance Company Ltd as an Actuarial Technician and Medical Underwriter thereby gaining practical knowledge and wealth of experience for over 6 years before joining Liaison Tanzania in 2016. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Actuarial) degree from the University of Dar es Salaam. Mary is currently pursuing her Certified Actuarial Analysis qualifications as well as that of ACII, UK. She is a member of Actuarial Society of Tanzania (AST)
Palingo has a vast experience in Customer Care for over 5 years at Liaison Arusha. She is also well versed in NGOs on Project Management, Marketing and Capacity Building for 9 years where she perfected her skills before joining Liaison Group. Palingo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing) degree from Mt.Meru University and a Diploma in Business Administration from College of Business Administration
Beatus worked with Bumaco Insurance Company Ltd as a Marketing Officer gaining practical knowledge and experience for 2 years. He holds a Bachelor Degree of Science in Insurance and Risk Management from the Institute of Finance Management (IFM). Beatus joined Liaison Group in 2018 where he was seconded to Kenya for special assignment for a period of 12 months before returning back to Tanzania.
